Double the Trouble, Double the Fun!

This adorable pair of Mackerel tabbies are looking for their forever home. Dulce (orange and white) and Caliente (brown and black) are three months old and ready to party at your house. They love to play with their toys and wrestle with each other throughout the day, then are ready to curl up for a good snuggle together.

Dulce and Caliente were found outside an apartment building in Windsor, with no mother around to care for them. After being taken inside and placed into a foster home with Second Chance Animal Rescue of Windsor-Essex County, they learned what it means to be safe and warm. It was discovered that they are positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) which is an autoimmune disease that only affects felines. They will be re-checked by SCAR to confirm this diagnosis around 6-8 months old. As long as they stay indoors and are taken for their yearly check-ups, they should live long, healthy, and happy lives.

Now that Dulce and Caliente have been in their foster home for a couple of months, they have blossomed into an affectionate pair of beautiful kittens. They are ready to find their purr-fect home, one that is ready for some fun kitten energy and will give them the opportunity to be valued members of the family for many years to come.
