The City of Windsor’s Parks Department is once again ready to host the 25th Annual Paul Martin Garden Perennial Plant Sale after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic.
The event will take place from 8am to 2pm on Saturday, May 7th, and will be the final one held at the Lanspeary Park Greenhouse on Giles Boulevard at Langlois Avenue. Next year, the sale will be held at the new home of the City’s Horticulture team, the greenhouses at Jackson Park.
Volunteers from Parks and Recreation will be on hand, offering more than 100 different types of perennials, plus herbs and grasses, trees and shrubs for purchase. Proceeds from the sale will continue to fund the Paul Martin Garden at Willistead Park.
The city will have two credit/debit machines on-site, and proceeds from the sale will continue to fund the Paul Martin Garden at Willistead Park.
