The Brain Injury Association of Windsor and Essex County received a $87,700 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation’s Resilient Communities Fund.
The funding will support staffing costs, purchase new technology, and implement a hybrid virtual / in-person programming model.
The funding allows BIAWE to rebuild and recover from the impacts of COVID-19.
“It will help equip board members and employees with supports to implement new approaches, prepare for change and build resiliency. It has increased our ability to improve and access financial resources, identify technology resources, seek opportunities for public-private partnerships and social enterprises to meet changing technology, health and safety, and service delivery requirements,” said Anna Jurak, Executive Director.
