Individuals aged 60 and older and First Nation, Inuit and Métis adults (including their non-Indigenous household members) aged 18 and over will be able to receive a fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccination in Windsor and Essex County.
Individuals are eligible if it has been at least five months (140 days) since receiving their third dose.
Local pharmacies, participating health care providers, and pop-up clinics will be providing this service. For a full list of participating locations, visit wevax.ca.
On Monday, the Health Unit Windsor Office will also host a pop-up location, by appointment only, for COVID-19 vaccination. Eligible residents can visit wevax.ca to book an appointment or call 519-258-2146, extension 4500, for assistance.
The Community Response and Stabilization Team will be holding vaccine clinics at the Leamington Municipal Building.
The walk-in clinics will take place from April 11th to 22nd, and no appointment is necessary.
It will run from April 11th to 14th from 10am to 6pm and April 19th to 22nd from 10am to 6pm.
