City Sport Fields Opening In May

The City of Windsor is planning a May opening for all sport fields and diamonds.

City staff are targeting Saturday, May 7th, 2022, for baseball diamonds and Saturday, May 14th, 2022, for all other activities (weather permitting).

All fields currently remain closed, as per usual in April.

The city is asking that everyone refrain from using the fields and diamonds, as the turf needs time to mature and to allow pre-season maintenance to occur. Using the fields when they are closed or using them without a permit may be subject to a fine for unauthorized use.
