The Longest Running Artist-Run Centre, Artcite Inc, is celebrating its 40th year.

Located at the Capital Theater, over the decades, Artcite has exhibited the work of thousands of artists and have brought the works of local, regional, national, and international artist into the gallery.

With the support of funders, sponsors and donors, the gallery remains open to the public with no entry charge.

In celebration of its 40th anniversary, the gallery is launching an online fundraiser.

The dream is to be able to support local emerging artists by providing micro-grants for art projects and research, scholarships for students studying in post-secondary arts programs, and expanding local and regional programming. The goal is to raise $40,000 in celebration of their 40th anniversary.
