A watermain replacement project in the area of Railway Avenue, including Fourth, Dupuis, Sixth, and Seventh Streets in Belle River, gets underway on Monday, March 21st.
Daily lane restrictions will be in place throughout the project. Restrictions will be moved as work progresses throughout the project area. Restrictions will impact Railway Avenue (between Fourth and Seventh Streets) and Dupuis, Sixth, and Seventh Streets (between Railway Avenue and Broadway Street).
Roads will remain open to local traffic, and all vehicle drivers should use caution while navigating the project area.
Residents and businesses in the area may experience low water pressure for short durations during the project.
Work is expected to wrap up in mid-May, weather permitting.
