The Ciociaro Club of Windsor has sworn in its first female President, Anna Vozza, effective January 30th, 2022.

A local Real Estate Broker, Vozza has been involved in the Ciociaro Club from a young age where her parents made sure the family participated and volunteered in many of their events.

She was originally elected to the Board of Directors as one of the youngest Directors and has held the Correspondence Secretary and Vice President positions over her 24 years of service on the Board.

“I am beyond excited and thankful to have been sworn in as the first female president of the Ciociaro Club, an establishment that is very near and dear to my heart and has always been my extended family. As the daughter of immigrants who left Italy to come to Canada for a better life for their family, I was always encouraged to focus on education, leadership, community and to never let go of my roots. I have put my heart and soul into the Ciociaro Club for the past 24 years. I look forward to working with our management team, staff, membership and the Board of Directors to continue to build on our 50 years of success. I am also eager to engage with our younger generation to get them involved with our Club’s rich Italian history, culture and heritage.” said Vozza.
