Protestors have shut off access to the Ambassador Bridge Wyandotte Street entrance.

Windsor Police advised drivers to use the tunnel and trucks to use the Bluewater Bridge in Sarina.

Trucks are backed up along Wyandotte Street West for several blocks, and police ask anyone heading to the University of Windsor to take a different route.

OPP officers have also begun arriving in Windsor, providing additional resources to Windsor Police.

At a news conference Thursday afternoon, Mayor Drew Dilekns said that the city will seek an injunction to bring an end to the occupation at the Ambassador Bridge.

He said he hopes a judge will hear it Thursday afternoon.
