Starting Thursday, the Windsor Public Library is moving to contactless curbside pickup of materials with all in-branch services suspended except laminating services for vaccination certificates (with QR code).
“With the rapid spread of the Omicron variant of Covid-19, the health and safety of customers and staff is paramount,” says WPL Board Chair, Councillor Rino Bortolin. “To mitigate the ongoing spread in our community and to provide a sense of well-being to our customers and staff, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend in-branch services and focus on contactless curbside pick-up.”
To access materials, customers place holds on materials in the same manner as always by accessing your library account on our website or by calling 519-255-6770. On receipt of notification that the order is ready, customers should proceed to their pick-up location of choice. Appointments for pick-up are not required. Simply identify yourself with your library card and staff will retrieve your holds.
