The Government of Ontario COVID-19 rapid antigen pop-up will be on the University of Windsor campus this week.
Rapid antigen tests are an additional screening tool only for asymptomatic individuals and not for diagnostic purposes.
The University of Windsor says that people without symptoms of COVID-19 or people who have not had recent exposure to someone with COVID-19 will be able to pick up a package of free tests, while supplies last. There is a limit of one test kit per person.
They will be available from the Education parking lot on the south-west corner of University and California avenues:
- Wednesday, January 12th, walk-up to receive from 10am until they are gone
- Thursday and Friday, January 13th and 14th, starts at 10am, but requires booking in advance through the Ministry of Health website. Those without appointments will be asked to return at the end of scheduled bookings.
Just look for the tent in the Education Parking Lot.
