Burger King in Downtown Windsor has closed.
A posting at the restaurant says the location closed on January 10th.
The restaurant opened in the late 2000’s, replacing a location further up on Goyeau that was knocked down to make room for the tunnel plaza expansion.
Restaurant Brands International, which owns Burger King, said in a statement “This was a planned closure, and the franchisee of this location has offered all team members transfers to surrounding Burger King restaurants. We are very grateful to our loyal Guests who have visited this restaurant over the years.”
