City Extends Bright Lights Windsor

The City of Windsor is extending the Bright Lights Windsor festival.
The nearly forty-day festival was set to turn out the lights this Sunday but has instead been extended for a full week more to January 16th, 2022.
The extra week will be light and sounds only week, with displays lit and the park accessible from 5:30pm to 10pm.
The vendor’s market, performances, and other activations close after the scheduled events on Saturday, January 8th.
The city says the extra week will provide additional time for families to enjoy a safe outdoor activity together.
The move follows extensions into January by Kingsville, Amherstburg and LaSalle.
