The Windsor Jewish Federation & Community Centre presented the Windsor Jewish War Veteran Memorial Sunday morning. Remarks were made by Councillor Ed Sleiman and Mexican Consul Vanessa Calva Ruiz, as well as other community members in remembrance of those who have been lost.

The memorial event was followed by the family members of veterans being invited to place flags at Shaar Hashomayim & Temple Beth-El cemeteries on the graves of their loved ones. Over 100 flags were placed throughout Sunday afternoon.
