COVID-19 Cases Reported At Two More Windsor Essex Catholic Schools

The Catholic School Board is reporting COVID-19 cases at two more schools in Windsor-Essex.

One class of students from St. Joseph Catholic Elementary School in River Canard has been dismissed after one case at that school.

Two classes and one bus cohort of students from St. Andre Catholic Elementary School has been dismissed after receiving notification of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 there.

The health unit is contacting any individuals, both students and staff, who may have been affected, and will give directions for them to follow.

A voice message to the entire school community was sent home this evening to inform them about the situation, and to notify the parents of those students who were dismissed that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
