COVID-19 Cases Reported In Three Catholic Schools

Several classes have been dismissed by the Catholic School Board after COVID-19 cases.
Two classes of students, as well as a bus cohort, from Stella Maris Catholic Elementary School in Amherstburg have been dismissed after receiving notification of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 there.
Two classes of students, as well as one bus cohort, has been dismissed from St. Anne French Immersion Catholic Elementary School.
They have also dismissed one class of students from Holy Name Catholic Elementary School in Essex.
A voice message to all three school communities was sent home Friday evening to inform them about the situation, and to notify the parents of those students who were dismissed that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
