The Catholic School dismissed several classes on Thanksgiving Monday after receiving notification of COVID-19 cases.

The board says that two classes of students and a bus cohort from Sacred Heart Catholic Elementary School in LaSalle were dismissed after receiving notification of two confirmed cases of COVID-19 there.

One class of students, and one bus cohort, from Stella Maris Catholic Elementary School in Amherstburg, was dismissed after receiving notification of one confirmed case there.

They have also dismissed one class of students and a bus cohort from St Anne French Immersion Catholic Elementary School after receiving notification of one confirmed case at that school.

A voice message to each school community was sent home Monday t notify the parents of those dismissed students that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
