The annual Amherstburg River Lights Winter Festival returns on Saturday, November 20th.
The Municipal Tree Lighting Ceremony and Fireworks will kick off the season, followed a week later by the Santa Claus Parade on Saturday, November 27th. Both events begin at 6pm.
The parade will be presented in the traditional live pageantry along Sandwich Street South to Richmond Street as in previous years.
“Amherstburg has always held that special charm during the holiday season. Now more than ever, while we encourage masks and safe distancing, our outdoor winter events will be sure to add warmth and memories for family and friends at a time,” said Mayor Aldo DiCarlo.
