Two groups of students were dismissed from St. Joseph’s Catholic High School Sunday.

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board said Sunday morning that they had dismissed 25 students after receiving notification of a confirmed case of COVID-19 there.

Sunday evening, they announced they had dismissed a second cohort of 29 students after receiving notification of another confirmed case of COVID-19.

The board says they have notified the affected students that they are not to attend school Monday.

A voice message to the entire school community was sent home Sunday afternoon to inform them about the situation and notify the parents of dismissed students that they should not send their children back to school until they have received further direction from the health unit.
