U.S. Extending Travel Restrictions At Canadian Land Border

Canadians will have to wait at least another month to visit the United States for non-essential reasons.
Friday morning, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security tweeted that the United States is extending restrictions on non-essential travel at land and ferry crossings with Canada and Mexico through September 21st while ensuring the flow of essential trade and travel.
They say that they are working closely with its partners across the United States and internationally to determine how to safely and sustainably resume regular travel.
Since August 9th, fully vaccinated Americans have been able to enter Canada.
To minimize the spread of #COVID19, including the Delta variant, the United States is extending restrictions on non-essential travel at our land and ferry crossings with Canada and Mexico through September 21, while continuing to ensure the flow of essential trade and travel.
