OPP Continue Search For Missing Windsor Man In Lake Erie

Ontario Provincial Police continue to search the waters of Lake Erie for 57-year-old Kenneth Blythe of Windsor.

On Friday, August 6th, 2021, at approximately 9:22 am, police received a report of an overturned vessel in the waters of Lake Erie.

Around 11:00am that day, firefighters located an unresponsive person on the shoreline of Rondeau Provincial Park, who was subsequently pronounced deceased. He was identified as 75-year-old Robert Thibert of Windsor.

OPP Aviation Services, OPP Marine Unit and officers utilizing All-Terrain Vehicles are currently searching the waters of Lake Erie and surrounding shorelines from Rondeau Provincial Park into the Elgin County area.
