The lights of the Capitol Theatre will be on again on September 25th with the return of live performances by the Windsor Symphony Orchestra after being dark for 18 months.

“It is an extraordinary day at the WSO when we can invite people back into our home at the Capitol Theatre. We are thrilled to make music with people, both in the theatre and for audiences in their own homes. We are back and loving it!” said Maestro Robert Franz.

The Bill & Rochelle Tepperman Masterworks Series and Toldo Pops Series will be available as in-person concerts at the Capitol Theatre and digital subscription packages. Concerts will be live-streamed on Saturdays.

Family Concert tickets will be sold in advance for each performance, and seating will be limited. For this series, there will be no live stream option.

In response to demand for tickets, the WSO added a second performance to the concerts in the Masterworks Series, a Sunday Matinee. Depending on demand, they may add a third performance of the Holiday Pops. Single tickets for a live performance on the evening of Sunday, December 19th, will be announced in mid-October.

The WSO will require patrons attending live performances of Masterworks and Pops concerts to provide proof of double vaccination. For all concerts, seating will conform with social distancing requirements, and audience members will be required to wear masks.
