The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced two more possible public COVID-19 exposure locations on Friday.
The first location is an event venue in Emeryville. The date of possible exposure was August 15th.
The second location is a nightclub in Downtown Windsor. The date of possible exposure was August 14th from 10:30pm until 2:30am.
The Health Unit lists locations open to the public where a positive case of COVID-19 worked, visited, or attended during their infectious period when it is determined there was a risk of public exposure, and when the Health Unit is not able to contact everyone who may have been exposed.
They say anyone who visited any of the locations on the identified dates should get tested immediately and monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date of exposure.
Anyone with symptoms is asked to stay home and take the Health Unit’s online self-assessment tool.
