Rainfall Warning Issued For Windsor Essex

Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Windsor and Essex County.
They say total rainfall amounts of 40mm to 60mm with locally up to 75 mm are expected. Locations impacted include Windsor, Amherstburg, Tecumseh, Belle River, Lakeshore, LaSalle, South Windsor, McGregor, Windsor Airport, Maidstone and Essex.
Windsor Fire has been responding to numerous calls of flooding in the area.
Approximately 1.75 inches (44mm) of rain has fallen as of 11:00am in areas of Downtown Windsor. West Windsor has also seen significant rainfall in excess of 1.5 inches (38mm).
