Kay Theaker of Maidstone won $150,000 with The Bigger Spin Instant game.

“I’m an occasional lottery player. I love the Instant games. I had $10 to spend so I thought I’d get one ticket, I’m not sure why I picked this one, but I did,” said Theaker.

The 59-year-old played her ticket while waiting at her dentist appointment. “After my appointment, I stopped at the store since I won a SPIN and everyone in the store was screaming at the top of their lungs when I won!”

Theaker, a sewing and quilting enthusiast, says she called her husband from the store to tell him about the big win. “He thought I was kidding around, so the store owner shouted out ‘No, she won’ from the background. My husband was so excited”

She plans to purchase a new stove and some new toys for her property. “I’ve been saving for years to buy my husband a tractor, this win lets me get him a better tractor even sooner!”

The winning ticket was purchased at Naders Mart on Talbot Street in Essex.
