The City of Windsor is making another special pick-up available due to flooding.

Anyone who sustained basement flooding during the July 24th storm is asked to call 311 if they require assistance getting damaged goods to the landfill.

The request to call 311 includes those who may have already contacted 311, as this call will be to coordinate a pick-up. The pick-up will only be for residents who are not going through insurance, as insurance providers coordinate pick-up for their clients.

To register for special collection, residents must call 311 between 8am and 4pm prior to 4pm on Thursday, July 29th, 2021. Material for collection needs to be at the curb and ready for collection at the time of booking.

Collection will take place between Wednesday and Friday of this week.

This is the second time in July that extreme amounts of rain have resulted in basement flooding.
