OPP Recover Body Of Missing Lake St. Clair Boater

Essex County OPP have located the body of a boater who went missing on Lake St. Clair over the weekend.

The Essex County OPP Marine Unit, Chatham-Kent OPP Marine Unit, and the Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre began searching for the missing 58-year-old man on Sunday afternoon after a kayaker came across an unoccupied small vessel on a sandbar.

OPP say the body was recovered around 10:30am, Thursday morning by the Essex County and Chathan-Kent OPP Marine Units and the Underwater Search and Recovery Unit.

Police say the deceased has been identified as 58-year old Harold Todd Howe of Lakeshore, Ontario.
