After announcing three local beaches closed earlier the week, the Heath Unit has retested Sandpoint Beach, Belle River Beach, and Mettawas Beaches and all beches are now safe for swimming this weekend.
The Health Unit monitors nine public beaches once each week during the summer to evaluate beach conditions and test the water for levels if E.Coli.
