Youth 12+ Can Now Book A COVID-19 Vaccine Appointment In Windsor Essex

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility at mass-vaccination sites for all youth aged 12 and up at mass vaccination clinics and pharmacies.
Previously the vaccine was only available to youth aged 12 to 17 with “Highest Risk”, “High Risk”, or “At-Risk” health conditions.
They say youth must be 12 years of age on the day of their appointment and it is strongly encouraged that those under 16 years of age be accompanied by their custodial parent or guardian.
Appointments are required at all of the mass vaccination clinics and no walk-ins will be permitted.
