Tecumseh Skate Park Re-Opens

The Tecumseh Skate Park will reopen on Wednesday, May 26th, 2021 at 11:00am.
Skate park users will be limited to a maximum of 10 people on the skate park surface inside the fenced area at one time for a maximum of 30 minutes and be required to keep a minimum distance of 2 m (6 ft) from each other.
“We know the Skate Park is a very popular outdoor amenity and we are happy to re-open it for use,” said Gary McNamara, Mayor of Tecumseh. “We encourage users to follow all public health guidelines in place, respect the direction of staff on site and avoid using the park during peak times.”
The skate park will be open Monday to Friday from 11:00am to 8:00pm and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 8:00pm. Staff will be on-site to log user names and contact information as well as open and close the fencing and monitor use. Users will not be permitted inside the fencing outside of these hours.
