Police Investigating McEwan Aggravated Assault

Windsor Police are actively investigating an aggravated assault in the west end of Windsor.
Police say around 8:00 pm on Tuesday, May 18th, 2021, they were called to the 500 block of McEwan Avenue for a report of an assault with a weapon.
Officers arrived and located an adult male with life-threatening injuries who was transported to the hospital.
It was reported that the suspects assaulted the male and fled the area prior to police arrival in a black Mitsubishi SUV that was later located by police and seized as evidence.
Police were also told that one of the suspects had a handgun and a knife at the time of the incident and is considered armed and dangerous.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 25 to 35 years old, with short hair, wearing black jeans and a black shirt.
The second is also a black male, 25 to 35 years old, with short curly brown hair, 5’8, 150 pounds, wearing black pants, a black shirt, and a satchel style bag.
Anyone in the area with video surveillance is requested to check their footage for possible evidence.
