The Downtown Windsor Farmers’ Market has returned for another season as of Saturday. It will run from May 1st until December 11th for the 2021 season. They operate every Saturday between those dates on Pelissier and Maiden Lane.
Operating under strict rules and following guidance from public health, masked customers and vendors alike are able to enjoy the opportunity to support local in a safe manner.
Shoppers are able to enjoy the open-air market to purchase a variety of local goods such as vegetables, baked items, unique cooked food offerings and plants.
Attendees of the market are still expected to wear masks as they did in the previous season, and the amount of people who may enter the outdoor shopping area is capped.
While operating under the lockdown for the next few weeks, certain vendors are unable to set up shop. However, as restrictions change in the future, the market anticipates being able to expand in to the Pelissier parking garage with additional goods and vendors such as jewelry, clothing, home goods and other artisan’s offerings.
