Windsor Police Investigating Multiple Hate Crimes

Windsor Police are investigating two hate crime incidents.

On Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 police were called to a hate motivated crime located in the 300 block of Tecumseh Road East. It was reported that someone had placed a Canadian flag with a swastika on it and staked it on the ground at the rear of the premise.

Then on Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 police were called report of a hate motivated crime at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare. . It was reported that someone had placed a sign on the property representing the Canadian flag, however, the maple leaf had been replaced by a swastika.

Anyone in the area of the 300 block of Tecumseh Road East and 1400 block of Prince Road with surveillance cameras are requested to check their footage for any suspicious persons or activity.
