Border Closure Extended

The U.S.and Canada land border closure for non-essential travel has been extended again.
The restrictions will remain in place at least until May 21st, 2021. The closure was first announced on March 18th, 2020 and has been extended on a monthly basis.
“We will continue to base our decisions on the best public health advice available to keep Canadians safe from COVID-19,” said Bill Blair, Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, in a tweet.
Supply chains such as the transport of goods and essential workers who commute for work continue not to be affected.
Discretionary (non-essential) travel restrictions between Canada and countries other than U.S. will be extended to May 21, 2021.
