Windsor Resident Celebrates $100,000 Encore Win

Elaine Leblanc of Windsor matched the last six of seven Encore numbers in exact order in the February 8, 2021 Pick 3 draw to win $100,000

Leblanc says she is a regular lottery player. “I always play ENCORE,” she shared.

The 58-year-old said she checked her numbers online and got a big surprise. “When I saw I matched six numbers on ENCORE – it was unbelievable! I scanned my ticket using the OLG Lottery App and almost wanted to scream but held back because I didn’t want to scare my mom who was resting next to me.”

Leblanc said she woke her mother and scanned her ticket again so she could see it with her own eyes. “It was pretty unreal. It definitely puts a smile on your face with everything going on in the world right now.”

Leblanc says she plans to treat herself to a big screen TV with her winnings.

The winning ticket was purchased at Pioneer on Howard Avenue in Windsor.
