WECHS currently has 10 gorgeous rats available for adoption! Rats are highly intelligent and social creatures who make very loving and entertaining companions. They love attention from humans, quickly learn their names, and can be taught several tricks. With proper care, rats can live 2-3 years. Rats are very social and enjoy the companionship of other rats to stay happy and healthy. Given that, we strongly suggest that you adopt rats in pairs. Of you are applying for a single rat, please be sure to include in your application how you plan to ensure that your rats social needs are met.
