Police have identified those killed after a fatal collision in Leamington.

OPP say that the crash between a passenger vehicle and a transport truck happened just after 7:00 pm on County Road 18 between Highway 77 and Morse Road.

The passenger vehicle had five occupants. Initially, one person was pronounced deceased at the scene. A second person has since been pronounced deceased.

The deceased have been identified as Paw Day, age 51 and Pah Gae, age 51 both of Leamington. Three others were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the transport truck was not injured.

County Road 18 between County Road 31 and Highway 77, was closed for several hours as the OPP’s Technical Collision Investigators assist with the investigation.
