Leamington Council has appointed Trevor Jones to the office of Municipal Councillor to fill the vacant following the sudden passing of the late Councillor John Jacobs.
Leamington Council appointed Jones as the candidate with the highest vote total not elected in the last municipal election.
“I am pleased to have a long-standing resident like Trevor, who is eager and involved in the community, join Council,” said Mayor Hilda MacDonald. “We look forward to working with Trevor in the future and wish him every success in his new role.”
Jones was officially sworn-in as a Leamington Councillor by the Municipal Clerk on December 9, 2020.
