Santa is coming to a screen near you.
The Downtown Windsor Business Improvement Association and the St. Clair College Alumni Association present Comfy with Claus, a virtual meet and greet with Santa himself, streaming live from his home in the North Pole.
“There are creative ways to help children safely experience the magic of the holidays,” said Andrew Rowberry, President of the St. Clair College Alumni Association. “We’re delighted to present this virtual Santa program for families in our region, and create connections.”
Kids, of all ages, are invited to sign up for their own time slot to hang out and chat with Santa. All they have to do, with the help of an adult, is to register by December 10th. The available times and dates are Sunday, December 13th from 2pm to 4pm; Wednesday, December 16th from 5pm to 7pm; and Sunday, December 20th from 2pm to 4pm. The event is free.
“We know that for many families, the meeting with Santa is an important tradition,” added DWBIA Chair Brian Yeomans. “This is when we see just how beneficial technology is, because here’s a great way to have one-on-one time with Santa Claus. It’s still interaction, and for a lot of kids, will be magical.”
