The County of Essex and the Town of Lakeshore is currently undertaking a corridor study on County Road 22 between East Puce Road (County Road 25) and Belle River Road (County Road 27).
The study is looking at options to improve the corridor to address the current and future traffic needs and support the Town’s vision of the corridor.
They are looking to develop a plan that will accommodate future growth, accommodate all road users (vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists), improve existing drainage, reduce the number of accesses along the corridor and improve the streetscape.
The public is encouraged to offer comments and participation in this study through online engagement.
To participate, visit Placespeak.com/countyroad22design. You can also visit the County of Essex website at https://www.countyofessex.ca/en/resident-services/county-road-22-corridor-study.aspx.
The survey portion of the engagement is open until January 15th. Everyone who uses this corridor is welcome and encouraged to participate.
