An annual tradition at a December Windsor Spitfires games will continue despite no hockey action.

The annual teddy bear toss always takes place in December and benefits Sparky’s Toy Drive.

With this year’s game cancelled due to COVID-19, the team worked to examine all options to hold this event.

On the weekend of Friday, December 11th and Saturday, December 12th, the team will have a drop off location at the WFCU Centre in front of the crease retail store.

When you arrive, you can throw your bears into the bins, and they will get them delivered to help out this holiday year.

They ask if possible; all teddy bears remain in unopened packages.
