PHOTOS: St. Clair College Sports Park Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday at the new St. Clair College Sports Park.

Located at the south end of campus, on what was a parking lot and green space the complex features a new soccer and football stadium with 1,500 individual seats, the Zelekman Tennis Center with four courts, a ladies softball diamond, outdoor sand volleyball complex with fully lit courts, snack bar/restaurant and field house.

The new park will bring teams together on campus who have until now been playing at various off campus facilities. It also replaces some athletic field space the college lost when the Herb Gray Parkway was built.

The project will be overseen by the Student Representative Council (SRC) and the Student Athletic Association.
