Hôtel-Dieu Grace Healthcare will temporarily suspend their registered visitor program as of Tuesday, November 17th, 2020 due to the significant increase in COVID-19 cases.
Designated Care Partners will continue to be welcome on the campus, as they have undergone specific training associated with enhanced precautions for COVID-19 safety and they provide specific aspects of the care plan to a patient. They will be limited to the patient’s room and are welcome to visit 7 days a week between the hours of 10:30am 6:30pm and will be required to stay in the room and be masked/wearing a visor at all times.
Patients who require end-of-life (palliative) care and who are actively dying as defined by the clinical team may have three visitors present at any given time. These individuals will be required to stay in the room, wearing a mask and visor at all times.
