The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced two new possible public COVID-19 exposure locations.
The locations include two restaurants: one in Windsor and one in Tecumseh.
The Health Unit lists locations open to the public where a positive case of COVID-19 worked, visited, or attended during their infectious period when it is determined there was a risk of public exposure, and when the Health Unit is not able to contact everyone who may have been exposed.
They say that the potential exposures listed are considered low risk, however as a precaution they ask anyone who visited any of the locations on the identified dates to monitor themselves for symptoms of COVID-19 for fourteen days from the date of exposure.
Anyone with symptoms is asked to stay home and take the Health Unit’s online self-assessment tool.
