20 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Windsor Essex As Of Monday

The Windsor Essex County Health Unit has announced 20 new cases of COVID-19 as of Monday, bringing the local total to 2,943. They say 2,754 people locally have recovered.
Cases increased from 2,923 on Sunday November 8th to 2,943 on Monday November 9th and 113 cases of COVID-19 are currently active in Windsor-Essex.
The Health Unit says 13 cases are close contacts of confirmed cases, 2 cases are travel-related outside of North America, and 5 cases are still under investigation.
There have been no additional deaths due to COVID-19 as of Monday and the local death toll stands at 76.
As of Monday, the Health Unit lists 1 person as hospitalized with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in Windsor Essex. However two hospitalizations are listed at Windsor Regional Hospital.

As of Monday there are four outbreaks:
- Berkshire Care Center (Windsor) has 2 staff cases
- Riverside Place (Windsor) has 2 staff cases
- Lifetimes on Riverside (Windsor) has 4 resident cases and 4 staff cases
- Iller Lodge (Essex) has 4 resident cases and 1 staff case
