Work Begins On New Assessment Centre At Met Campus

Work is set to get underway at the new COVID-19 Assessment Centre at the Met Campus.
The Assessment Centre will operate in trailers located in the parking lot outside of the Emergency department adjacent to Byng Road.
This location will allow for quick access to the ED if any patient who comes for a COVID-19 test requires urgent medical treatment.
Pieces of the new Assessment Centre will be arriving on site Wednesday and Thursday.
It is tentatively scheduled to open in October.
