Smile Cookies are returning to Windsor Essex Tim Hortons locations starting next week.
For one week, from September 14th to the 20th, restaurant owners will donate the full $1 from every freshly baked chocolate chunk Smile Cookie purchased to support charities in communities across the country, including the John McGivney Children’s Centre and W.E. Care for Kids in Windsor-Essex.
The John McGivney Children’s Centre provides rehabilitation and support services to children and youth with special needs living in Windsor-Essex and their families.
W.E. Care for Kids is dedicated to enhancing the health and wellness of children in Windsor and Essex County by inspiring community giving.
You can even pre-order Smile Cookies by completing this form and submitting it to your nearest participating Tim Hortons Restaurant. Officials say Smile Cookies will also be available in the Tim Hortons app, and on Uber Eats and Skip the Dishes and may be available for delivery to your location.
In 2019, the Smile Cookie campaign raised a record $9.8 million across Canada. The campaign, which started in 1996, is now in its 24th year. Smile Cookies are supporting over 550 charities, hospitals and community programs across Canada this year.
