Zehrs on Malden Road in LaSalle will be celebrating its grand re-opening to the public this Friday after renovations to update the look and feel of the store.

The store recently underwent renovations to its layout, signage and fixtures, along with the addition of a Starbucks.

Officials including store manager PJ Doe, LaSalle Mayor Marc Bondy, MP for Essex Chris Lewis and Windsor Councillor for Ward 1 Fred Francis will celebrate the store’s grand reopening on Friday with a ribbon cutting and a donation to the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association.

“I’m delighted to finally show off our new and improved look to the Malden community and our resident food lovers,” said store manager PJ Doe. “It is also so important to us that we give back to the communities we operate in, especially during these difficult times for so many.”

“We’re proud to provide our great community partner, the Windsor Essex Food Bank Association with a $5,000 donation in celebration of our grand re-opening,” he said.

Zehrs Malden Road offers in-store services including baked breads and cakes, a full service seafood, butcher, deli counters, a floral department, restaurant-quality grab and go meals, a salad bar, a sushi counter, and a fresh and local produce section.

The store is located at 5890 Malden Road in LaSalle and is open daily from 7:00am to 9:00pm.
