Summer can get expensive but having a good time as you soak up these last few weeks of summer doesn’t need to break the bank! Check out our list of fun, local things you can do for low to no cost. It’s the summer of the STAYcation but that’s not reason to simply stay home! Check out just a few of the ideas below right here in Windsor Essex and start your bucket list of things to do, places to explore, things to see and more!
Explore our towns and districts! There are plenty of places to just roam and explore so grab your family and start wandering! Check out historic neighbourhoods, plenty of outdoor art, fields of fresh produce and bright sunny beaches. Or relax on one of the extended outdoor “euro-style” patio’s in Via Italia, Downtown Windsor, Amherstburg, and Kingsville. There may just be a short time left in summer vacation but there is still plenty to do!

What You Need to Know: If you are looking for the perfect place to get outside and explore, this 50km nature trail comprises the southernmost link of the Trans Canada Trail and travels through Essex County. So lace up those shoes, pack a water bottle and hit the trails on foot or by bike.
Have a “Scentsational” Experience
