COVID-19 Testing Times Increasing

Health Unit CEO Theresa Marentette says the turnaround time for COVID-19 testing results has increased. Marentette speculated that the increased time for results could be due to lab capacity and the fact that more tests are being completed across the province. She said many test results are back within one day and 81 per cent of tests have results within two days. Around 700 tests are conducted per day on average within Windsor and Essex County, according to Marentette.
